Strangers

Your words die before you speak
You see her again but it's not that sweet
You look at her lips but you can't kiss
As we are strangers now

You crack a joke to hold your tears
You drink a lot because of fear
You wake up in the middle as nobody's near
We are strangers now

Oooo.. you were like a shooting star
It felt so close but you were really far
I wished to spend my whole life with you
Now I'm living in the dreams alone

It's like I'm breathing but there is no air
My heart beats but it's really scared
I love you... but it goes nowhere
As we are strangers now!

   Woolen shirt

Well I clung to you,
Like cat hair clings to a woollen shirt
You needed me, like a wedding dress needs dirt
The more that I wanted, the harder I squeezed
The harder I squeezed, the less you could breathe
And we sunk down to the bottom
Yeah, we sunk down to the bottom of the sea
Yeah, we sunk down to the bottom of the sea

And I cried for you,
Like a widow cries at her lover’s grave
You haunted me through my stinging nights,
And aching days
The more that you struggled, the tighter the knots,
The tighter the knots, the lower we got

And we sunk down to the bottom
Yeah, we sunk down to the bottom of the sea
Yeah, we sunk down to the bottom of the sea
Yeah, we sunk down to the bottom of the sea
Oh no,
‘Cause I saw divers and submarines
And I saw divers and submarines
Oh, I saw divers and submarines
